Welcome to UCan Promotions! My name is Scott Johnson and I have a son, Michael, with cerebral palsy. For the past 14 years, Michael’s entire life, I would go to bed frustrated and certain I haven’t done enough for my son. The next morning I'd wake up scared and wondering what more I can do to help make his life better. The challenge is that I’m not a therapist or health professional so I’d continually feel like I’m at the mercy of others. Frankly, my hobby has turned into surfing the Internet searching for advancements and new treatments others have made to help children with cerebral palsy.

I’ve had enough - I’m tired of waiting for someone else to discover a solution to help my son.

This is where UCan Promotions comes in:

I have over 25 years of sales and business experience. I’ve trained others to become successful business professionals. I’ve helped others turn around their personal lives and lead the life they choose. I finally realized that this is how I can help my son.

You see: A good salesperson doesn’t need to be able to hold a pen to take an order. He doesn’t need the ability to walk to visit a customer. A good salesperson simply needs the skills and character to do what’s right and gives the customer what he wants. All you need is a smile to tell someone they’re important - Michael can do this.

So, I have decided I’m going to teach my son everything I know about sales, business, and being the person he chooses he wants to become. I’m going to teach my son people skills, communication, leadership, responsibility, the true value of looking someone in the eye - telling them what you’re going to do and then doing it, the value of being honest, and finally to joy of giving back.

To do this, I have started a new business called UCan Promotions. The big idea is that I can say to him, “Michael, with the proper tools and the right attitude UCan do whatever you choose.” This basic truth will translate to you, the customer, as well. We'll ask, "What are you trying to accomplish, why do you want this and how can we help you to succeed?"

UCan Promotions is a promotional marketing company where we’ll help your business put your name or brand on whatever item you choose. We’ll help companies develop marketing campaigns that will get them the most “Bang for their Buck”. We’ll help organizations promote themselves with an effective message, while at the same time helping a young man grow and develop into a successful, independent, and community oriented individual.

At UCan Promotions 10% of all profits are donated to charity. Michael is responsible for choosing the charities, explaining why he chose a specific charity, and how this donation will benefit the charity. This information will be communicated to our clients and posted on our website, so that he and our business partners can witness the benefit of sharing and experience the blessing of giving to others.

My goal at UCan Promotions is to ensure that you as the Customer experience the highest in customer service while teaching Michael to become self-reliant and to have the confidence and courage to defend and provide for himself.

With UCan Promotions and your help I am certain Michael will not just succeed but will excel at being whoever he chooses to become because, “Michael, with the proper tools and the right attitude UCan do whatever you choose” and so can you!
